About Pennies For Polio
Pennies for Polio is a campaign designed to raise money and awareness for one of Rotary's most precious causes. Rotary and its partners are on the brink of eradicating this tenacious disease, but a strong push is needed now. For this effort, Stik.com, a service that helps professionals build their reputation and referral networks online. Stik.com has pledged to donate up to $1MM to END POLIO NOW for each recommendation and review collected by Rotarians on Stik.com through December 31, 2011.
How It Works
Rotarians need only sign-up for Stik.com and start collecting professional recommendations and reviews. To get started:
- Sign-Up: Click here to build your Stik.com professional profile in less than 3 minutes.
- Request Recommendations: Click here to request recommendations from your friends, family, past clients and fellow rotarians (You can also do this in the sign-up process). The more recommendations you receive, the more money Stik.com donates to END POLIO NOW.
- Spread the Word: Share this effort with your network. The more Rotarians involved with the cause, the bigger impact we can make to eradicate this terrible disease.
How Do I Get Involved?
Pennies for Polio is being led by Rotary Club of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Club President Nick Casteel is working closely with Stik.com founders Jay Gierak and Nathan Labenz to bring rotarians together for this great cause.
