Melissa Martinez-Carrasco's heart of passion, transparency, endurance and commitment remind me of this Jewish Proverb, "I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders." I believe that Melissa has chosen to turn wounds into wisdom, demonstrated faithfully through a plethora of her talents. I feel at times she may have had to carry heavy buckets of water on her shoulders with one even having a hole in it. In hindsight it provided life to forgotten seedlings along her path that eventually blossomed into greatness, just as she has. Thank you Melissa for embracing the journey and walking through the Stargate of life, for we never know what's on the other side unless we journey forward through faith.
