Portrait Artist

David is a wonderful, award winning professional photographer. I have had the opportunity to watch David work and teach, three years in a row, at the PPA affiliated School - Great Lakes Institute of Photography, and I have been in awed by his artistic talents. His photographic artistry gives you, as his subject, a very different perspective of what REAL photographic artistry is supposed to be. David has a wonderful personality that meshes well with his diversified clientele, as well as the students he has taught. His sense of humor is wonderful and it allows his subjects and students to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. His professionalism and work ethic is outstanding. I would totally recommend David for any type of event, whether it be teaching a class, or shooting a wedding. Plain and simply?.David IS a master in Photography.

David is professional, extremely talented, fun, creative, funny, enthusiastic and an overall joy to be around. He takes his work seriously and is always striving to out do his best. I have had the honor of taking his "Learning to See" class and I believe I learned more about technique in that one week of teaching than I have in the past 5 years put all together! The class pushed me to think outside of the box, to put my passion into action and to BELIEVE that only exceptional work comes from working outside of my comfort (lazy) zone. David is one of the "Masters" in all senses of the word - he is a rare talent and a blessing to fellow photographers as well as to his clients.

David and I went to school together in Michigan. What do I remember about David? Ahhh, nothing. But as "The Master", I feel I am one of his most formidable advocates. David's personality is dynamic, vivid, extraversial and enthusiastic. This is further evidenced by his expressive photograhic genius. David spends countless hours traveling the nation, offering an "animated" lecture/seminar venure that only David can "Master". He makes himself "a part of", rather than" better than" both fellow and aspiring photographers. His work from traditional to abstract is unique but always with the respect of his clientele. It is truly an honor to know "The Master" and I look forward to it in the years to come!

David is an energetic, charismatic professional who is not afraid of difficult assignments. Whether it is one client, a group of novices, or a large event, he is skilled at educating on all levels due to his in-depth knowledge of his industry and he can quickly connect with his clients on a personal level. David?s integrity, character and gifted vision as a photographer/educator and business man combined with his people skills is his key to success.

Being a professional photography, I can offer a different perspective on David Deutsch. I can honestly say that of the many photographers I know very few have as much integrity and work ethic. In addition David's attention to detail and love of the craft not only shows his passion for the industry but also a high level of respect and care for his clients. In an era where so many amateurs and semi-pros are coming out of the wood works you can know beyond a doubt that David Deutsch is the real deal.

I have known David for a relatively short time, however, in that amount of time I have gained a friend and wonderful mentor. David is always very helpful to others when they are in need and offers feedback when asked. He is very professional and his work speaks for itself. David is not only a wonderful photographer, his determination and passion to continue educating others and to raise the "bar" so to speak in the photography industry shows, not to mention he is a LOT of fun :)

David is a true professional across the board, whether teaching or creating an image of a client. His work is stunning- it really speaks for itself- but his passion for his craft shines through. He is willing to teach those that want to grow in their photographic ability and does this with talent mixed with a lot of fun. His dedication to the photography industry is to be admired. He gives his time and energy to bettering the industry. I would be honored to take future classes taught by him or to have him photograph my family or any important event.

I am a big Fan of Mr. David Deutsch's work. I can't travel at the moment, but if I can in the future I would love to go to one of his workshops. I wouldn't think about it twice if he ever comes to the South area to instruct. I have spoken to him several times and I can honestly say that he has a very friendly and charismatic personality which to me is what makes a great photographer even better. I love his modern yet traditional style and the way he captures the emotions in people.

My contact with David has been strictly through FB. With this being said, I have been impressed with David's passion in his chosen field, and his willingness to share his skills and knowledge with his peers. David M. The way a photographer captures that once in a lifetime moment is important. The way a photographer is able to interact with you, your family, and friends is vital. David has an amazing gift with getting those around him to relax. From his client to those working the venue along side of him. It has been over 15 years of David capturing our family memories for us. From Anniversaries, to high school graduations to our children's weddings David and Tammy are the best. I met David through the Professional Photographers of Michigan. He is a lot of fun to be around. He has such a passion and love for the art of photography and it shows through his pictures.
