About Rebecca Pokela

I take great pride and respect in the Personal Training field. I understand what it's like to feel judged and be judged by your weight.I use to be 290 pounds until I found out I have degenerative disk disease and fibromyalgia along with other skeletal birth defects. The weight was starting to take a tole on my spine and I ended up having spinal surgery. After that I realized it was time for a big change. I WANTED TO DO IT RIGHT. Having just had surgery I had to make sure I would not reinjure my spine, so I burried myself in health and fitness. Being that I was way overweight helped me to understand what its like to go to a gym and feel completely uncomfortable and out of place. The other thing i found frightning about the gym was not knowing how to use the machines or how to do certain exercises, then there's that feeling of intimidation being surrounded by all those hot bods. My friends would say get you measurements done HAAA! Then there was another hot bod trainer poking and pinching me and talking to me about my weight. Thats why I decided to do in home training. You can get your workout plus have the one on one attention you deserve. I take the time to design and modify your exercise routine according to your capabilities. I dedicate extra time no more of this "45 minutes are up" stuff. If you have pain I will help by showing and helping you to physically eliminate your muscle aches and pains. I am constantly doing research in order to keep things fresh and interesting so you won't always be doing the same old burnt out exercises day in and day out. I offer 3 free sessions (notice I don't put a time limit there) during those first 3 we get measurements, we talk about goals and how we're going to reach your goals and we top it off with a fitness assessment.See MoreRead Less
