I met Deborah many years ago as co-leaders of High School Parent organization and knew right away that she was a person to be admired. Her steadfastness, dedication and devotion to the stidents, parantes and organization was outstanding. It was during that time she shared her story and mission to educate all on the crisis and misconceptions of ADHD. ADHD is gripping, and over the years more children are diagnosed at frightening numbers. Deborah’s dedication and devotion to find alternative methods to help her children, and other families are indefatigable. Her heartfelt mission has taken her on a journey of research and education. The knowledge she has obtained through her own life experiences, working with experts and professionals in the field is remarkable. Deborah shares valid points of view on this crisis detailing why the number of individuals with ADHD is growing and occurring and provides alternatives. She portrays these complex issues in a way that all can understand and relate to.See MoreRead Less"

every family who fight against Autism and ADHD must watch Deborah's video, our special kids don't need any kind of psych drugs, we know only could damage more their own health, but many doctors suggest ritalin , and many others psych drugs to mostly of special kids and is completely wrong way to control their behaviour. Please continue your great work Deborah! We need more people just like u to spread the truth. XXSee MoreRead Less"

I have read many books relating to " autism" and I would put Debbie Merlin 's book at the top. As a mother whose children were affected she embraced the medical side of "autism". She understands that behavior is how a child sees , how a child hears , and how a child feels. This book address these three issues and much more. I highly recommend this book to anyone on the " autism" journey.See MoreRead Less"
