I am new to Claudia's art and photography and am leery of abstract art because much of it, in my untrained mind, is not art, but splatters that anyone could make. However, I am impressed with her abstractionisms because they have content and form. They remind me of the use of color and form in Carol Griggs art - one of my favorites. But then, her use of bold, vivid colors reminds me of van Gogh. Her photography is an unusual visualization of rivers and their surroundings. My most favorite, by far, is her Genesis series of portraiture. They are a combination of her loves of art and aerial photography - very unusual and very enjoyable. She starts with Alex McClain and moves into the abstract. And, I would say that her art is is most comparable to that of Ben Wilhelmie, but at a a closer magnification.See MoreRead Less"
