Being a first time mom, I didn't know what to expect. I just knew that I didn't want to have my baby in the hospital if at all possible. I met @[592393763:2048:Laura Hopper] when I visited a friend of mine that had just had her third baby at home with Laura. Laura is wonderful. Caring, knowledgeable, smart, organized, loving, (I could go on forever). She kicked me in the butt when I needed it (like not eating correctly at Christmas time :) ), and supported me in every decision, giving/helping me with all the info a new mother needs. I knew that at any time throughout the pregnancy and birth, if there was ANY indication that I needed extra attention (i.e. have the baby in the hospital), she would tell me, and help me through that process too. I had a wonderful pregnancy and wonderful birth because of Laura. She calmed me when I needed it and waited for my body to do what it does naturally (labor pains started at about 8 am, I called Laura at 3:00 pm, and I had my son at 7:07 pm that night). She was wonderful with the post-partium appointments as well, helping me and my child with getting the nursing right, answering ANY questions that came up, even questions from my sister, who had her first child 1 week after me with a different mid-wife (who was not as awesome/helpful/wonderful as Laura, but I am a little prejudice). Laura is the type of mid-wife that can handle any situation, and any circumstance. She is a wonderful woman and an amazing friend!

Laura is an amazing midwife; I loved my home birth. She also teaches an awesome birthing class great for home or hospital births, way better than the classes the hospital offers!

Laura isn't just a midwife, she is a friend, willing to share her knowledge with anybody who needs it. I'm so thankful that I met her, and that she was there at the hospital with me. I'm glad I can say she is my friend! Her birthing classes are amazing.

Laura is as wonderful midwife, I loved prenatal appointments with her.She always had something uplifting to say. And I loved the postpartum care that I received from her.It was awesome! She was always very understanding of my needs with each of my pregnancies.I would definitely have her as my midwife again! :)

To me Laura Hopper is a role model to all women who seek knowledge about self love and being honest. Learning to trust and not be afraid to be the beautiful, strong women I have been blessed to be. I am thankful to know her and would recommend her to anyone for birth and any question that a women is in need of answers. My husband thinks she is the cats meow too!

I've known Laura for five years now and feel blessed to know her! She has helped me bring two of my beautiful babies into this world and she helped give me the confidence and strength to do it the way I wanted to. She's kind, thoughtful, honest and made me feel like a friend and not just a client. I can't say enough good things about her postpartum care! she's an amazing woman and an incredible midwife!

Laura is an AMAZING Midwife and friend. She is very passionate about what she does and it shows in her everyday life. She is willing to help you be succesful with whatever your goals may be. My homebirth was hands down one of the most incredible experiences!

Laura Hopper exudes true warmth, love, and professionalism to her clients. She does whatever it takes to make sure you feel comfortable at your prenatal appointments. I love that she really listens to your concerns about your pregnancy and has knowledgeable answers to your questions. She also has a lot of resources available to help you find the information you need to become comfortable and knowledgeable with the entire process of pregnancy and having a new baby.

Laura was exactly what we needed for our birth! For us that meant hands off till need be. Perfect combination of observer and midwife! We totally recommend her for your next birth!

Laura is an awesome person and midwife. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. I never considered a natural home birth until I met her. She answered all my questions, helped my husband and I through the process and was a great support! Laura has been my midwife for both of my wonderful births. She has an amazing spirit and is whatever you need her to be. For me she embodies the perfect emotional climate needed during pregnancy and labor.
