Review by Mark Beecher

As a voting member of the GRAMMYs (The Recording Academy), Music Professor @ Drexel University, full-time drummer/percussionist for the past 22 years, and having recorded over 35 albums with a variety of artists in some of the most reputable recording studios in the Tri-State area, which includes the legendary Sigma Sound in Philadelphia, I can say, with all honesty, that Greg Brady @ Studio 1311 (BradySound Studios), is one of the most masterful recording engineers I've ever had the pleasure of working with! I first met Greg after being recommended to him by the employees of a music store I frequent, which also happened to be the location where Greg had his first studio set up, before moving his studio to where it currently resides, in Woodlyn, PA. I was also drawn to Greg's studio by his wonderful personality and very affordable rates - which in today's economy, is a very important issue for working musicians, like myself.

Greg is a solid worker with great attention to detail. His insight and knowledge of Pro Tools and the technical side of the studio is impeccacble, besides being a world-class musician himself and was a part of our band's CD earning a 1st Round Nomination for the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards! No project is too small for Greg (I've recorded everything at his studio - from Christian Rock, to Bluegrass, to a video game soundtrack that required Fife, Drum & Bugle) and whenever I text him about scheduling a session or with a question on something, he either responds instantaneously or within a few minutes of me sending the initial text. If you have a specific sound you're going for, Greg takes the time to work with you until that goal is met, which many recording engineers don't have the patience for. For me ... even aside from knowledge and technical ability, one of the most important aspects of producing a top-quality recording project, is all based on how "friendly" a studio is and with Greg, I couldn't ask for a more hospitable, accommodating and friendly person - he's like a brother to me. A musician is only going to do their best work if they feel relaxed and many studios don't really care about that - only how they are feeling at the moment, with no regard for the client's well-being!

To anyone looking for an audio ace, with a top-quality studio and friendly atmosphere, where they can record their best work at very affordable prices, I highly recommend Greg Brady and Studio 1311 (BradySound)!
