Suzi has photographed & video taped me with The Gator Alley Band last year & did a fantastic job. One of her shots of me I use for my profile picture. Since then, I've gotten to know her & I must say that her work is superior to other photographers I've worked with. She is talented, humble & relentless. What separates talented amateurs form pro's is that they know how to listen to the client & deliver a stylistic interpretation of the clients vision. Suzi delivers. That's it, That's all.See MoreRead Less

I have known Memphis Gold for many years and have worked with him on many different projects. Besides being a heck of a good writer, a heck of a good guitarist and a heck of a good vocalist, he is a heck of a great guy as well.

After having only communicated with him via the Internet for some years we finally got to meet at the Blues Music Awards in Memphis, TN a years back. For as long as I live, I will never forget our introduction. From afar, I saw a distinguished looking man all dressed up in a sharp looking suit and he was wearing the unlikely accessory of a baseball cap that was bright gold with green letters that said Vietnam Vet. Not knowing who it was but being a veteran myself, I immediately decided I needed to meet this proud man. I walked up to him and said "excuse me sir, I'd like to introduce myself to you" and extended my hand. At that very second, his wife exuberantly exclaimed "why that's my husband, Memphis Gold". She was as proud a woman as he was a man and the goodness that was being given off from these two people was beyond what words can say about it. Once I told him who I was, we both let out joyous sounds and started hugging. That was about a warm a moment as I can ever remember having in my life.

Professionally, I've had the pleasure of doing reviews of three of his CDS and his songs have appeared on three compilation CDs I've produced. Those reviews can be read and those CDs can be listened to by going to www.Mary4Music.com

I was so happy with my purchase! My little boy is obsessed with lions and Joanne was able to create a piece with a lion licking my son's face while he was laughing. Also, I can never get my son, husband and grandfather together for a picture so Joanne took 3 individual pictures and painted a portrait of them. I am so so happy and would recommend her in a heartbeat!See MoreRead Less

As a film director I have worked with many writers over the years developing stories and scripts. Occasionally I've come across a writer who I would consider a rare talent like Betty Dravis. Her ability to expertly control her narrative, create distinctive characters and keep a reader completely enthralled is amazing. I was introduced to Betty when she asked me to read a collection of short stories entitled Six Pack of Blood which she wrote with the equally talented Barbara Watkins. I became an instant a fan and read it in one sitting.
The stories were chilling and original.
I wrote a foreword to the book praising it as terrifying, unique and thoroughly engrossing! I've now become familiar with other works by Betty Dravis and was pleased to find such diversity in her books. Whether it's a family saga, a prophecy about an unborn child, a charming story about toonies invading Silicon Valley or the behind the scenes of interviews with famous celebrities just to mention a few, you know you're in the hands of a master storyteller. The apparent ease and style of Betty's writing makes her work appealing and highly entertaining.
I feel fortunate to have met Betty Dravis through her work and hope that many others, like me will do the same and become lifetime fans.

I specifically went to Herried Music to talk to Lynn about buying a uke. I have known Lynn since his son, Shaun, was in my first grade class. He is an amazing musician and so perdect in the job he now has. I told him I wanted to learn to play a ukulele. I had tried the keyboard many years ago. He asked why that didn't work out...hmmm...hadn't thought about that. It was just too hard to find time to practice in another room in the home away from everything. I had heard the uke was easier and was obviously more portable.
Lynn explained the different kinds of ukes and played each kind so I could hear the difference. I picked the sound I liked and the price I wanted to pay. That narrowed the choices and I picked the one I liked. He helped with books, etc. A totally happy experience.
I am not by any means good but I really enjoy plunking away and singing with Don in the living room.
As far as what makes Lynn stand out. He didn't just sell me a uke, he helped me sell it to myself...no pressure!

Barbara,
Is a true dancing spirit with an extensive, technical dance background. She breathes dance and is an excellent teacher. Breaking down steps and explaining it all makers anyone want to try to dance . I highly recommend Barbara as a teacher for beginner through professional.See MoreRead Less

I met Nathan at an Anime Convention in Rochester. It was good to be at one again as I had lived pretty much away from civilization for close to a decade. I needed to be around other geeks, and there were not enough geeks in a small town. Courtney (my fiance) noticed that there was an panel on publishing urban fantasy. Courtney, being an aspiring author herself (and myself having an interest in all things creative), decided to attend. I was half way expecting a mix between how to write better fan fiction to ad for the host's own book.

We got neither.

What we got was a rather informative guide on how to enter publishing and how to do a good job doing it. presented by a rotund, pierced & tattooed man with blood red died hair clad in what I can only consider appropriate for one of Lestat's opulent dinner parties. It was a good thing to see for once, A man who knew what he was talking about without wearing white polo and khaki's.

I decided to ask a few questions. And what started out as a panel turned into what amounted to a one on one discussion about marketing that happened to have an attendance.

The Next day, we caught them again at the convention, this time at their sales table. This time selling their books. This time he was wearing a tshirt of one our favorite bands, Dir en grey. Sweet! A smart and knowledgable person who loves j-rock, this person is my type. We start to converse, this time allowing for digression.

The discussion has not stopped.

Nathan has presented himself to be a powerful and positive force, both personally and professionally. He inspires integrity into my daily life and illustrates the perfect balance of how to enjoy yourself and remain active in life's endeavors.

He is committed to his craft, but his craft does not define him. His work is only a small part of the bigger picture he presents and it has been a privilege to share my experiences with him.

I am gifted to know several mutual writers and artists and Susan Alcott Jardine is among those of high regard.

Top quality art, every color to fit any room, any design you can imagine, and if that were not enough, she can express herself in many talented ways from her long list of successes in so many fields. An amazing and caring woman who brings everything she does to life in her special way.

Then - there is The Channel... Stories from L.A. - I will only tell you to go get it!! She is an Author, painter, actor, stage design, I doubt there is something around that she cannot turn into art...

Amazing business woman, a true professional in every aspect.

Susan Alcott Jardine has so many talents to bring to the table, that you can't wait for the next one of her works.

I was there at the beginning of Marc's career - little theoretical knowledge, but great natural ability and an even greater love of the art form. I was there at Berklee where Marc absorbed theory like a sponge and began in earnest to hone his craft. For the past 35 years we've been on opposite coasts. I've marveled at Marc's progress through press releases, videos and recordings. He's got it all now, theoretical knowledge, tone, control, but most of all, the innate swing, groove and sheer musicality that blew me away the first time I heard him play.See MoreRead Less

I have had a business relationship with Kenneth since 1970. I have been associated with him on various projects and worked for him as a radio disc jockey at two (2) radio stations.

Through my observations of Kenneth I have learned the value of sticking to your dreams, self sacrefice and dedication to family and friends. I have observed him in numerous situations exercise good judgement and handle administrative matters with an even hand.

He is creative and has the ability to grasp issues quickly and make decisive decisions. Kenneth is dedicated to his community at times placing its well being ahead of his own opportunities for advancement. Anyone seeking to engage in any venture with him should know that Kenneth is someone you can not only trust but whom you can rely on to deliver under any circumstances.
