Over the last decade the health care industry has changed from focus on patient care to focus on business.

It is headed for a large shortage, if Obama Care is allowed and not stopped there will be long waits and those over 50 with a life threatening illness will have a hard time getting care.

The health care industry is headed in the direction of PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE. Meaning that through organic nutrition and using eco-friendly products that you will reduce/ prevent your risk of falling ill to cancer or suffering from hormone disrupting products.

And if you think that organic nutrition is expensive, have you priced cancer lately? Yes, it's true organic items will cost a few dollars extra, but when it comes to your health and preventing devastating diseases, isn't it worth it?

It's important to know that what's offered to you on the shelf at the grocery store isn't the only or best option available for your optimal health. There is an online service that will deliver organic nutrition and green cleaning products to your door, that isn't just good for you and your home, but for the planet too!

If you're intersted in learning about the Shaklee difference and also taking part in making a difference in the world, then please visit organicnutrition.myshaklee.com for more information and then please conact me!

The health care industry is headed down a bumpy road that has bigger potholes then those found on Pennsylvania highways. AND, the industry itself created that road. In Oregon we are dealing with "CCOs": Coordinated Care Organizations. The idea is to partner the State with a for-profit insurance company to provide delivery and payment of health care services. Even though this "bold experiment" presently only involves the State Oregon Health Plan, the unwritten truth is that this model will eventually be adopted by all insurance companies. I don't see this as "a good thing"; I see it as two broken pieces being glued together to attemp to repair something those pieces broke!! I have written a lot to support my position at www.HealerToday.com. Please take the time to read about CCOs--they will be showing up in your State before you know it.

People are becoming smarter about their health and starting to make broader decisions on how to stay healthy. Many people are choosing "alternative" approaches such as chiropractic, massage, accupuncture; BILLIONS of dollars are spent every year on non traditional health care. I believe in the last decade the AMA has calculated their losses and projected those losses out for the next ten years--doesn't look extremely profitable for the traditional medical approach. As long as the AMA continues to block the way for naturopathic and alternatives, traditional health care costs will continue to rise--and, people still won't be addressing preventive care. Please read more about the economics of health and wellness on my site at www.HealerToday.com.
