What type of marketing has proved to be the most efficient in selling homes or marketing yourself?

I have been using Zillow, Homes.com, Realtor.com, and of course Facebook but I am just wondering if there are some other marketing areas that are working for others to market their homes, and connect with buyers

By referral only. Making phone calls to past clients, friends, family, and present clients to feel comfortable to introduce me those people that they care about. I will be their Real Estate Consultant for Life.

Realtor and customer referrals. Stay in touch with all referrals.

Never underestimate the power of Craigslist.  A well written and targeted post could sell a listing, connect with sellers looking for comparables, and bring in buyers looking in a targeted area. All you need is a good lead capture website and a consistent posting schedule.
