My mother and I run a daycare now, and we seem to have a tendency to attract these type of children lol. It also helps that my son is a high autistic, with adhd and tourettes. We just take everything very slowly. We also take or cues from the child. And we use a lot of the coping skills that we learned from the therapist that works with my son. She had been very helpful on her suggestions, and in what we have learned from living with my son and his behavior development. I would suggest speaking to a therapist and asking if they have any recommendations and/or resources that you could use. That is the best thing that continues to work for us; that and daily patience.
